Ekaitz Lopez Amurrio (44) is the Chief Financial Officer and member of the Management Committee of the Bilbao Port Authority (BPA) since 2014. Coordinator ofEU founded projects between the Port Authority and the European Commission such as CEF Transport BILBOPS Project. He is a member of the Energy and Sustainability working groups at the European Seaports Organisation (ESPO). Ekaitz has supported since its foundation in 2019 the BilbaoPortlab project to build an open innovation ecosystem at the Port of Bilbao. He is strongly focused on supporting energy transition projects to deploy alternative fuels and renewable energies at the port of Bilbao.
