Ing Ryan Fava is a professional engineer who achieved his engineering degree from the University of Malta. He then pursued his studies at Brunel University London and thereafter worked as an engineer for several private companies.
In 2022, he was appointed as the non-executive Chairman of Enemalta plc. Since 2023, he has been leading the Board of Management of Enemalta plc as an Executive Chairman. This transition emerges as the company is shifting its focus towards developing a long-term plan for the electrical distribution system in Malta.
Moreover, Ing Fava is in his fourth consecutive term as the President of the Malta Dockers Union, having been first elected to the position in 2014.
