Suzanne Chambers was appointed Managing Director of Gallagher (Malta) Limited
(formerly Osprey Insurance Brokers Co. Ltd) in October 2019. She has been with the
company since 2003, holding various technical and managerial roles, including Senior
Technical Manager, General Manager, and Head of Operations.
Suzanne began her insurance career in 1991 as an underwriter, quickly advancing into
management while pursuing her Associateship of the Chartered Insurance Institute. She
later earned a BSc (Honours) degree in Financial Services, completing her studies in 2008.
Joining Gallagher (Malta) Limited in 2003 provided Suzanne the opportunity to broaden her
expertise across specialist insurance lines tailored to the unique needs of corporate clients.
Over the years, she has developed extensive knowledge in all classes of business, with a
particular focus on aviation risks. Her expertise includes handling airlines, airports, general
aviation, aerospace risks, aviation regulation, air traffic control, and specialist property and
liability insurances for aviation and marine-related risks.
Suzanne also played a pioneering role in negotiating insurance coverage for Europe’s first
commissioned Onshore Power Supply Unit in Malta, a milestone certainly for her career and
the first of many to come of this type of risk for the international insurance market.
