
Valeria Mangiarotti is the Marketing Manager of the Port Network Authority of the Sardinian Sea (ADSP), where she leads strategic marketing and development for Sardinian ports. A seasoned maritime and legal expert, Valeria has played pivotal roles in shaping port sustainability across Europe.
She is President of the Cruise and Ferry Port Network of ESPO and serves on several EU and Mediterranean maritime boards, including MedCruise and WISTA. Her contributions span from strategic environmental planning to legal advisory roles on European port directives.
A lawyer by training with a law degree from the Catholic University of Milan and a master’s in common law from the London School of Economics, Valeria began her legal career at the Court of Appeal of Milan before transitioning to port administration in 2002.
Her academic and thought leadership includes lecturing at LUISS, the University of Antwerp, and the University of Southampton. She is also a published author on environmental policy for cruise ports and a frequent speaker at major maritime summits such as Seatrade Cruise Global and GreenPort.
With over 20 years in the cruise and port sectors, Valeria is recognized for her expertise in green port strategies, shore power systems (OPS), and EU-funded infrastructure development.She is in the board of the Bank of Italy.
